Hi Everyone,
Ever since we published Paragons, our team has been hard at work on the next product: A Starter Kit that makes it easier than ever to learn and play the game. We set up the pre-launch page for the Kickstarter campaign today, which means now is the perfect time to follow along and get notified once the campaign is live (expected to launch in late March).
Since you backed our first Kickstarter, we'll tell you that in addition to the contents of the Starter Kit, which comes with four new episodes for you to play, we're also going to include posters and a GM screen as add-ons in this campaign.
I hope you'll join us for this second Kickstarter campaign and add to your Paragons collection!

Shipping Updates & Last Call for Backerkit Surveys

Hi everyone!
Good news: If you filled out your Backerkit survey and ordered physical products, they are on the way. You likely received a shipping tracking email already, but I wanted to confirm that all those packages are in-transit.
At this point, the only outstanding orders are for people who have not filled out their Backerkit surveys yet. If you're not sure whether or not you've already done that (or know you ordered a physical product but haven't received a shipping email, you can go to the survey recovery page by clicking the following link:

In general, if you live in the US, your books should arrive before the end of the month. It may take a little longer for backers from Canada and Mexico to receive their packages, but everything is in the mail.
Wrapping Up the Campaign
Now that all the rewards have been shipped out, I'm going to give it another month or so for any last surveys to filter in. If life has been busy or you haven't had the chance to fill it out, that's okay! It takes 5 minutes and you can immediately lock your order and address and pay for shipping, which means I'll be able to ship your rewards to you within only a couple of days.
If you don't fill out your survey before I close the campaign, that's okay, but you'll need to reach out via email at [email protected] to get your rewards. I'll send out a final email before closing the campaign for good.
In the meantime, I look forward to seeing everyone's rewards arrive. Please share pictures when your books get in, and tell us all about your games! A great place to do that is in the Broken Door Entertainment discord or on social media.

Locking Addresses & GenCon News

Good news! The books have arrived in the United States!
I'm optimistic they'll be delivered to me this week, which means as soon as I can do a quick quality check, I'll be ready to start packing things up and shipping them out.
What does this mean for you? You will receive a notification from Backerkit in the next 30 or so minutes after receiving this update email (probably much sooner than that) telling you to lock your address in the pledge manager. Please confirm that I have the right shipping address for you and lock it in: I want these books to arrive safely and to the right place and your help with that will help streamline things on my end.
Once addresses are locked and the books have arrived, I will begin packing up orders with the hope to put the first packages in the mail early next week. From there, it's off to the races. My wife and I are going to become expert packers, and I'm sure we'll be able to get a lot done in a short amount of time, but please be patient as it may take a couple of weeks for us to get everything shipped out.
Your book will look just like this, except cooler, because it belongs to you.
In the meantime, I have two other small pieces of news that I'm excited to share with you:
First, I will be at GenCon selling copies of Paragons at the Gehenna Gaming booth (3054) in the very back corner of the exhibitor floor, in a new section called "Entrepreneurs Avenue". I'll be there most of the weekend (except for lunch breaks and a couple of panels), but something I'm very excited about is that we're organizing a Signing and Meet & Greet with the Paragons development team members who will be at the show. So if you'd like to come get your copy of the book signed by all the contributors at GenCon in one easy visit, or chat about the game, that would be a great time to do it!
We'll have more details about when that will take place in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our social media channels (especially Bluesky and TikTok) for those details, but you're also welcome to join our Discord, where I will share them as well.
Second, I will be debuting the first physical adventure module for Paragons: The Roleplaying Game at GenCon, with physical copies of the sample episode from the Quickstart Guide. After GenCon, it will be available on our website, so you can still get it if you aren't going to GenCon. We've been hard at work polishing it up, and I've got a special sneak peek for you all here today (I won't be sharing this image publicly until July). Here's the new cover illustration for the sample episode:
